In a city littered with bikes this one often catches my eye. Beaumont Buildings are a line of terraced cottages built on the site of a former palace. The checkered brickwork and cheerful pots and window boxes are less imposing than the Georgian frontages of their neighbours on St John Street, but I enjoy them just as much as a cycle past.
